Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of ClayCraft Academy courses, workshops, studio sessions, websites, and related services (“Services”).

1. Enrollment

Enrollment is confirmed upon successful payment or explicit confirmation from ClayCraft Academy. Places are limited and may close before published dates.

  • Eligibility: You represent that you can enter into binding agreements and will comply with all applicable laws.
  • Attendance: Arrive on time and follow studio instructions for safety and quality outcomes.
  • Materials: Some courses include materials; others may require you to bring or purchase supplies.

2. Acceptable Use

Use the Services lawfully and respectfully. Do not disrupt classes, infringe rights, or misuse studio equipment.

  • No harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of staff or students.
  • No attempts to access accounts, networks, or systems without authorization.
  • No recording or redistribution of course content unless explicitly permitted in writing.
  • Respect studio rules regarding tools, kilns, glazing materials, and cleanup.

3. Payments

Prices are listed per course. Taxes may apply. Promotions may change without notice.

  • Payment timing: Full payment may be required to reserve a spot unless stated otherwise.
  • Billing info: You agree to provide accurate billing details and keep them updated.
  • Chargebacks: Unauthorized or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension of access pending resolution.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancel at least 7 days before start for a full refund. After the start date, partial credit may be offered.

  • Late cancellations: Less than 7 days before start may be ineligible for refunds; you may request a credit at our discretion.
  • No-shows: Missed sessions are generally not refundable.
  • Rescheduling: Rescheduling options depend on seat availability and instructor capacity.
  • Academy cancellation: If we cancel a class, you’ll be offered a refund or transfer to another session.

5. Disclaimers

Courses are provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the extent permitted by law.

  • Creative outcomes: Clay and glaze results can vary; we do not guarantee specific outcomes, colors, or firing results.
  • Third parties: Some tools or platforms may be provided by third parties; their terms may apply.
  • Availability: We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to online components.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted, ClayCraft Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

  • Studio safety: You agree to follow safety guidance; participation is at your own risk.
  • Property: We are not responsible for personal items lost or damaged on premises.
  • Cap on damages: Where permitted, total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant course or service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.

If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (for example, via email or an in-site notice) before the updated terms take effect.
